A variety of Cattle breeds will be on display during the Show. Prime Beef can be found across the bridge and for an insight into the beef industries visit the Information Pavilion situated by the pens. Stud and Dairy Cattle is located by the horse stables. Friday will see the chance for the younger generations to showcase their talents in the judging and paraders competitions so please come along and show your support.
For all Dressage enthusiasts don't miss our Dressage Competitions held at the Redlynch Equestrian Association Grounds, Intake Road, Redlynch the weekend before the Show. This is the first event or the precursor of the Cairns Show. Check out the elegance of the Dressage event and get excited about the beginning of the Show.
Poultry, Caged birds and Pigeons
Quackling ducks, honking geese, screeching parrots and crowing roosters. Find the Poultry Pavilion across the bridge to see the wonderful array of birds.
Equestrian events are held across the three days of the Show. Highlight events include the Mounted Games and Sporting Event competitions which test the skills of both horse and riders.
Guinea Pigs ( Cavies )
Thursday is guinea pig day with lots of varieties on show, from long haired to satin breeds. A favourite and must see is the Best Fancy Dressed Cavy. Make your way to the Walter Crow Pavillion to see who will take out this years Grand Champion Cavy.
Friday sees an array of dog breeds showcased as they compete for Champion. Grab a seat at Midday to watch the canine agility trails.
Once upon a time there were Three Billy Goats Gruff; Little Billy Goat, Middle Sized Billy Goat and Great Big Billy Goat. Come along to the goat’s pavillion to see what the goats are up to. There may even be some baby goats at the Show.
