Tropical Garden Promotions Schools Horticulture Grant
The Cairns Show Association (CSA) believes that it is important to support our local schools and give children the opportunity to present and display their work to the Cairns community. We hope that by using the Cairns Show as a resource tool it will encourage students to produce their best work.
We are pleased to announce that due to a kind donation from Tropical Gardens Promotions a grant will be available yearly for Schools who have entered any Cairns Show Horticulture classes to use to maintain their School Gardens.
In return we would ask that any schools accessing this grant enter some of their fruit, vegetables or plants they grow in to the following years horticulture competition.
To be Eligible for the Grant you must have
- Entered into the 2023 Cairns Show Horticulture Competition
- Apply for the 2024 Grant by the 24th November 2023
How to apply for the Grant
- Request a Grant Application Form for the Competition Coordinator at [email protected] or collect a form from the Show Office to register your interest.
- Registration for grants will open in October 2023.
- Grants will be presented by Gift Voucher from Bunnings Warehouse to all Schools that have registered their interest in February 2024.
The amount of the Gift Voucher will be announced nearer the time.
