The Cairns Show Wine Awards were proudly presented by the Cairns Show Association and JVIB.
The Awards has become a prominent fixture on the Australian Wine Industry Calendar, held annually in June. The Awards shine a spotlight on wine style, appropriate food pairings, and overall wine quality. Their significance is particulary notable in the Far North of Australia, a region known for its robust tourism and hospitality industry.
The event’s reputation has been built on a firm commitment to internationally recognised judging criteria and the participation of high-trained Judges, lending creditability to the Cairns Show Wine Awards. The national recognition within the industry is evident form the calibre of Judges attracted to the event.
While the primary focus of the Awards is to acknowledge exceptional wines through the awarding of Trophies and Medals, it also aims to promote the event within the local wine market and provide exposure for wineries who enter. Following the completion of the Judging Process the general public is invited to attend our Public Tasting event. Throughout the day, wine appreciation workshops are offered to educate those interested in delving deeper into the industry.
