Camping During the Show
Camping during the Cairns Show is permitted strictly between the 15th and 22nd of July 2025, unless prior arrangements have been made with the Camping and Stabling Steward only.
Please note that camping space is very limited, and allocation will be made at the discretion of the Camp Steward, whose decision in all matters regarding camping will be final. Due to potential congestion, only vehicles that are approved and used for bona fide camping purposes will be permitted to remain within the campground.
Camping Fees

$25.00 per Night

$150.00 per Week
All fees must be paid in advance, and refunds will not be issued for shortened stays.
Application Deadline
Camping must be applied for in writing using the official form no later than 20th June 2025.
Applications received after this date may not be considered.
Camping Regulations and Conditions

Environmental Compliance:
Campers must not contaminate waterways, roadside gutters, or stormwater drains in accordance with the Environmental Protection Regulation 2019.-
Laundry wastewater may be discharged to the ground only if it is filtered using a properly secured filter sock (50–100 micron). These must be securely attached to prevent seepage. Please note: feet socks and stockings are not acceptable filtration methods.

For compliance purposes, your details will be provided to the Cairns Regional Council.

Clean and Tidy Campsites:
All campers are expected to leave their campsite clean and tidy upon departure. -
COVID-19 Safety Measures:
The Cairns Show Association operates under a COVID Safe Venue Plan, and all campers must comply with the health and safety measures in place at the time of the event.
