Australia’s Largest, Regional, Agricultural Show!
The Cairns Show is a budget-friendly event that offers something for everyone, regardless of age or background. At the Cairns Show, we promise to showcase the finest of Cairns’ Agricultural, Pastoral, Mining, and Cultural Industries. In 2025, the Cairns Show will celebrate its’ 120th Birthday, please join us and make it one to remember.

PARTICIPATE
Competition Sections: We offer 32 different Competition Sections that are agriculturally centered for those of all ages and skill levels. From arts and crafts to animals, scarecrows, pole climbing, woodchop, horticulture, photography, poultry and more, we offer it all! Showcase your talents at the 2025 Cairns Show and win a prize!
Exhibitors: Are you a new business eager to make connections? Perhaps you’re an established business looking for a revival. Do you have a new product, service or sale that you need to advertise? Then join us as an Exhibitor at the 2025 Cairns Show!
Ambassador Programs: Our mission to to Connect the City to the Country, and part of that mission involves offering opportunities for the Next Generation within the agricultural, pastoral, mining, and cultural industries. We offer three Ambassador Programs including the Cairns Showgirl, Cairns Show Young Rural Ambassador, and Cairns Show Rural Ambassador. Are you looking to make new connections, build confidence and advance in your career? Then our Ambassador Programs could be for you!
Volunteers: The core of every successful community event is the incredible contribution of Volunteers. Join us and help bring the 2025 Cairns Show to life; check out our Volunteer Opportunities today! No experience is necessary and there are a variety of roles available.
Sponsorship: The Cairns Show Association relies on Sponsorships from local businesses, grants from the government and council, donations from the public, and community attendance at the Show to operate on an Annual basis. A Community Event in the Heart of Cairns!
1. Support the FNQ & Local Community: By stimulating local economy sales and service and in visitor spending for local businesses.
2. Promote the Agriculture & Rural Industries: By bringing FNQ’s Agricultural, Pastoral, Mining and Cultural Industries to Cairns and Surrounding Regions.
3. Educate the Next Generation: By offering demonstrations that educate and strengthening awareness of the abundant Agricultural and Primary Industries.
4. Showcase Local & National Talent: By offering competitions that reward competitors for their excellence, encourage individuals to develop their craft, and inspire the next generation of gifted individuals.
