“Before becoming the Cairns Show Rural Ambassador, I wasn’t heavily involved in agricultural shows and thought they were mostly about community entertainment. “I had an amazing time in the Rural Ambassador role. It was a once in a lifetime experience that really boosted my confidence and public speaking skills. I was also able to see a new side of the Show and gain an understanding all the hard work and dedicated people behind the show movement.
